116″ Carthage Chipper

116" CARTHAGE 12 knife chipper with motor and controls. Features 8" thick disk capable of handling a single log up to 30 inches in diameter. Bottom discharge. Set up for 3/4 chip. Feeds at 245 fpm. Motor is a Magnatek 2500 HP, 4160 volts, 320 rpm. Direct drives chipper with Falk coupling. Includes motor controls center with electronic soft start. Also includes hydraulic brake for quick stopping. This chipper features replaceable knife pockets to reduce down time. Chipper was new in 1991 and has been used little since that time. Motor is rebuilt.
