CORLEY 8 x 60 Combination Gang-Edger. Thin kerf, top arbor combo...currently running as a double gang conventional strobe saw machine with two 150 HP arbor motors. Features include split rolls to allow feeding cants and boards at same time; cant turner; transfer chains; live crowder roll; powered saw shift; live outfeed rolls; controls; 100+ blades; guides; guide molds. In 2019 the current owner took it down to the bare frame and rebuilt it to Corley’s original drawings back to factory condition with all new parts. The motor electrical controls on the Gang have also been upgraded to all inverter drives. The Gang has also been modified to be able to run both as a Combo Edger (Gang – Right Side and Board Edger – Left Side with Shifting Saws controlled by on board Set-Works) OR as it is currently operating, as a Double Side Gang. The Machine is currently running as a Conventional Gang with arbor spacers and strobe type blades. It can be reconfigured to run as a Thin-Kerf Gang, with the splined arbor sleeve, blades, guides, complete cooling system, etc. These components are included. The Gang comes with many spare parts; Belts, Bearings (All), Blades, Guides, Live Feed Roll, etc. Rebuild parts and labor were $92,000 for Mechanical Parts/Spare Parts/Labor, and $105,000 for Electrical Parts/Labor. This is a very high quality machine and good value for a serious buyer. Arbor starters are included...one softstart and one full voltage starter.
